The Advent market in Kirchbichl is a must for all connoisseurs and Christmas lovers. On the first two weekends of Advent, the old walls are transformed into an atmospheric backdrop for regional delicacies, handmade Christmas gifts and Advent music. The Katschner bakery will spoil you with delicacies from the wood-fired oven, while lovingly bound Advent wreaths and handicraft products provide Christmas inspiration.

Traditional Krampus run in the town center

Another highlight of the Advent season is the spectacular Krampus run organized by the Perchtenverein Kaprun. In the early evening, the Kinderkrampusse start, followed by St. Nicholas, who hands out small presents to the little ones. Afterwards, around 20 groups show off their skills with masks and costumes – an experience that makes the power of regional customs tangible.

Star Advent market in Zell am See

In Zell am See, the Sternenadvent market promises festive moments for the whole family. From November 20 to December 22, festively decorated huts with mulled wine, freshly baked cookies and handmade gifts invite you to linger. Live music and children’s programs ensure bright eyes and Advent anticipation.
